General conclusions

Magnesium ions are essential to the basic nucleic acid chemistry of life, and thus are essential to all cells of all known living organisms. Plants have an additional use for magnesium in that chlorophylls are magnesium-centered porphyrins. Many enzymes require the presence of magnesium ions for their catalytic action, especially enzymes utilizing ATP, or those which use other nucleotides to synthesize DNA and RNA. Magnesium is ubiquitous in its distribution throughout the body. It is second only to potassium as the most abundant positive ion within the cell and is present to some degree in all organs and tissues. Magnesium must be balanced with calcium, sodium and potassium for the proper regulation of nerve impulse transmission and muscle contraction.

Very important for people's health are magnesium and its compounds. Magnesium is needed for more than 300 biochemical reactions in the body. Magnesium helps to people in many ways - regulate blood sugar level, keeps the heart rhythm and immune system and keeps bones strong.
There are around 19g of magnesium in each 70kg person. Approximately 65% is found in people's bone, teeth and blood. Humans take magnesium supplements every day by food and drinking water. Of course low level or high level of magnesium in the body can make changes of human's health. That is the reason we have to keep and care about absorb supplements and minerals. Deficiency of magnesium can cause diseases like asthma, arrhythmia, cancer, diabetes, stress and others.

Why using magnesium in health?

Magnesium is the fourth most abundant mineral in the human's body and is essential to good health. In our bone we have around 50% of total body magnesium but in our blood we have only 1% of magnesium. It's a small part but very important for people's health. Magnesium is needed for more than 300 biochemical reactions in the body.
